She is self-taught. Each box or bag is a one of a kind piece of art and they are all exclusive works for the store Blue Tree. There are no embedded objects in any of her work. Joyce's purses are in the permanent collection of costume exhibits at both the Victoria Albert Museum of London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
